Dr. Mary Anne Herndon specializes in providing CMMI-DEV v.1.3 resources providing courses, appraisals and consulting for small and medium organizations. Since 2001, she has been a certified SCAMP v1.3 lead appraiser and SCAMPI Class C and B team leader and an instructor for the Introduction to the CMMI-DEV v1.3.
Since 2007, Transdyne Corporation has supported process improvment activities for commercial and government organizations to improve their project management, engineering, and support functions. such as configuration management, quality assurance and process performance measurement.
As a member of the International Research Consortium (IPRC), http://www.sei.cmu.edu/iprc/ir-workshop.html, small settings focus group, she was on the program committee for the first International Workshop on Implementing Formal Process Improvement Models in Small Settings. She is a member of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and National Defense Industries Association (NDIA). She is also actively participating in the development of the NexGen CMMI model as a member of the Plain Language Team. The charter of this team is to improve the readibility of the NexGen model across the international community.
