Transdyne Corporation Process Improvement Director

Dr. Mary Anne Herndon has over 20 years experience in providing CMMI courses, appraisals and consulting for small and medium organizations.  She is a certified CMMI V2.0 lead appraiser and instructor.  For the past 14 years, Dr. Herndon has participated in the evolution of the CMMI models and appraisal methods, including CMMI V2.0, MDDAP Program and the future Safety and Security Practice Areas.

Transdyne's client base includes product and service development, product line support, manufacturing, communications, virtual and mixed reality, avionics, medical manufacturing, cyber security, safety for both commercial and government customers.

 As a member of the International Research Consortium (IPRC), a small settings focus group, she was on the program committee for the first International Workshop on Implementing Formal Process Improvement Models in Small Settings.   She is a member of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and National Defense Industries Association  (NDIA).

Dr. Herndon received a PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in 1973.
